A Great Dentist

Your First Visit

When you first visit Toronto Lakeshore Dental, we want to make sure you feel at ease as soon as you walk through the doors. When you first enter the office, our highly trained front desk staff members will greet you with a smile and a warm welcome. They will also take all of your necessary paperwork, billing, and insurance questions, as well as a record of any scheduling preferences you may have.

Waiting room at Toronto Lakeshore DentalThorough Dental Exam in M8W 1N6

Once you have been checked in, you will meet our hygienist who will take care of you throughout the first part of your examination. In this exam, we will take x-rays and clinical photographs to have as much information for our dentists to create your treatment plan. Once the hygienist has taken your x-rays and made her clinical notes, one of our three dentists will come in to meet you and do a clinical evaluation. During this examination, we take a lot of time talking with you, reviewing your health history, and making notes of our own so we can work together to give you a thorough understanding of what we see and what the next steps will be regarding treatment if it's needed.

Second Dental Visit

Your second visit will either address urgent problem areas if needed or be a thorough routine cleaning. Our team is also well-equipped to help patients who are struggling with periodontal disease, so we will address those concerns if necessary. We can even handle the most advanced cases, as Dr. Joo has been extensively trained to perform gum grafting surgery here in our office.
