Dr. Youngwoo Joo, D.D.S.
Dr. Joo was born in Korea and currently resides in Vaughan, Canada. He received his undergraduate training at the University of Toronto and graduated with degrees in zoology and human biology. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from NYU College of Dentistry.
Dr. Joo has received extensive training in dental bone grafting using a process called Platelet Rich Fibrin, or PRF, which offers optimum results and healing. He’s also completed advanced training in periodontal, or gum, surgeries, and he’s certified for administering IV sedation.

One of the things Dr. Joo enjoys most about being a dentist is getting to know his patients and building trust and life-long relationships. He loves educating patients about the importance of oral health and how it affects their overall health and well-being. Dr. Joo considers the appreciation and acknowledgment from patients for the quality of work they received one of the most rewarding aspects of his job.
When he’s not helping patients maintain their oral health, Dr. Joo can be found snowboarding, golfing, or watching basketball.
Dr. Ellie Moore, D.D.S.
Dr. Moore is originally from Penticton, Vancouver . She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Toronto and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry.
Experienced Children's Dentistry
One of the aspects of her job that Dr. Moore loves most is working with children. She says, “I love kids, and it is rewarding when I can give kids their healthy smile back and provide a great dental experience. In addition, I love to help patients to overcome their fear of the dental office. Whatever their fears are, we will work it out together and turn their appointments into a pleasant experience.”
Dr. Moore also enjoys snowboarding, golfing, and watching movies in her free time.
Dr. Haejin Lee, DDS
Dr. Lee received her undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and majored in Pharmacology and Human Biology. She later went on to study at the University of Melbourne where she gained her Doctorate in Dental Surgery.
Experienced Restorative Dentist
Dr. Lee focuses on Restorative Dentistry including Tooth colour fillings, Crowns, and Bridges.
She is a caring person who always treats her patients with great respect and care. She especially loves working with children.
When she is not at the clinic, she can be found playing her cello or painting.
Dr. Hayoung Kim, DDS
Meili is a graduate of Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario, a member of the Canadian Dental Hygeinists Association and associate of the College of Dental Hygeinists of Ontario.
Meili's warm welcoming smile, together with her patient-centred professionalism, is a guarantee that every patient will receive exceptional care. Meili loves working with people of all ages and she is driven to make everyone feel comfortable and educated about every step of treatment provided. Melil thrives to make you feel welcome and cared for as a part of the Toronto Lakeshore Dental family, whether greeting you upon your first visit, or as a returning patient.
In her spare time Meili loves spending time with her family, friends and planning out her next travel destination.
As a child, Chau always looked forward to going to get her teeth cleaned and she greatly admired her hygienist in particular. It was from this that Chau obtained the spark for her hygiene career. Chau possesses a Dental Hygiene diploma from George Brown College, is an active member of the Canadian Dental hygienists Association and an associate of the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario. Chau believes that her background in Hygiene allows her to have a closer personal relationship with the patients and she greatly enjoys working with everyone. She sees a myriad of opportunities to educate patients on oral health and their general wellbeing, and Chau believes it is her privilege to see patients happy as a result.
When Chau is not working she enjoys going on food adventures with her friends, and browsing the latest trends at the mall.
Monica is a friendly, outgoing people-person who's always willing to lend a helping hand! She has a background in Emergency Telecommunications and has over 6 years of customer service experience. Although she is new to the dental field, she strives to accommodate patients' needs, making them feel comfortable and at home. Monica continuously endeavours to learn more about the dental field, so that each and every patient receives the best care possible. When Monica is not at the office, she enjoys performing as an international recording artist and spends her time playing Latin music to people all over Toronto! You will always find Monica with a big friendly smile on her face, ready to welcome you at the door.
Patient Coordinator/Dental Assistant
Pamela is a vibrant individual, who's sunny disposition creates a wonderful environment for patients. Pamela obtained her diploma for Dental Office Administration at George Brown College in 2013, but prior to her dental career she was a piano teacher for over 10 years. Since obtaining her diploma, Pamela has worked in a myriad of offices in an administrative role and continues to expand her dental background, having recently completed the Dental Assisting Program at Medix College.
Pamela takes pride in making patients feel comfortable by providing excellent chair side manner, and her diverse administrative background, in conjunction with her dental assisting knowledge, has allowed her to become an extremely versatile and effective health professional. Outside of the office Pamela enjoys spending time with her precious friends and family, as well as exploring new places.
Ana was born in Sao Miguel, Azores and raised in Toronto. She is fluent in English, Portuguese and an understanding of the Spanish language. With over 10 years experience in customer service in the restaurant industry and auto industry, she then decided to change paths and attend Medix College where she received her diploma as a Level II Dental Assistant in 2016. Shortly after became a member of the Ontario Dental Assisting Association, Ana was then given the opportunity to join the TLD team where she has administered her knowledge and has gain much more experience working alongside Dr. Joo and Associates. Ana has experience in all chair side assisting procedures from Dental restoration, Cosmetic, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, Pediatric, Nitrous oxide and IV sedation. Out of all her chair side assisting procedure Ana enjoys mostly Oral surgery, not only the procedure itself but from the emotional and positive outcome of the patients when they receive their new smile. Like many of the patients Ana too has overcome her dentalphobia. Since then she has been helping patient's by recognizing the possible source of their fears and help them identify and overcome their dental phobia. Ana will take that moment to understand what you are afraid of and figure out the best way to help you cope. When not at the clinic Ana dedicates her time to her daughter, hubby and family making new memories.
