Dr. Kent Shin brings a truly global perspective to dentistry. Born in Korea and now based in Toronto, he trained at Griffith University in Gold Coast, Australia, where he earned his Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and Graduate Diploma of Dentistry.

Driven by a commitment to lifelong learning, Dr. Kent has pursued extensive postgraduate training across three continents. He holds a Graduate Diploma of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics from EODO (Excellence in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics) in Sydney, a Postgraduate Diploma in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry from the London Dental Institute, and advanced implant training through IAADent in Sydney. He has also earned a Fellowship in Modern Aligners from Ripe Global.

Dr. Kent offers comprehensive dental care with a particular focus on:

• Orthodontics, including fixed braces and clear aligner therapy
• Aesthetic and restorative dentistry, including crowns, veneers, and smile design
• Implant dentistry, including implant placement, bone grafting, and sinus lift procedures
• Surgical extractions and root canal treatments, including complex retreatments

At the heart of Dr. Kent's approach is a belief that every patient deserves care built on trust, open communication, and genuine comfort. He combines evidence-based techniques with a minimally invasive philosophy to help you achieve a healthy, confident smile.

When he's not in the clinic, Dr. Kent trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and volunteers on international dental missions in Cambodia, India, and Kyrgyzstan — a reflection of his deep commitment to giving back to communities around the world.
