Our Team

Dr. Joo was born in Korea and currently resides in Vaughan, Canada. He received his undergraduate training at the University of Toronto and graduated with degrees in zoology and human biology. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from NYU College of Dentistry.

Dr. Joo has received extensive training in dental bone grafting using a process called Platelet Rich Fibrin, or PRF, which offers optimum results and healing. He’s also completed advanced training in periodontal, or gum, surgeries, and he’s certified for administering IV sedation.

Care Philosophy

One of the things Dr. Joo enjoys most about being a dentist is getting to know his patients and building trust and life-long relationships. He loves educating patients about the importance of oral health and how it affects their overall health and well-being. Dr. Joo considers the appreciation and acknowledgment from patients for the quality of work they received one of the most rewarding aspects of his job.

When he’s not helping patients maintain their oral health, Dr. Joo can be found snowboarding, golfing, or watching basketball.

Dr. Moore is originally from a small town, Penticton, BC. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Toronto and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry.

Experienced Children's Dentist in Etobicoke

One of the aspects of her job that Dr. Moore loves most is working with children. She says, “I love kids, and it is rewarding when I can give kids their healthy smile back and provide a great dental experience. In addition, I love to help patients to overcome their fear of the dental office. Whatever their fears are, we will work it out together and turn their appointments into a pleasant experience.”

Dr. Moore also enjoys snowboarding, golfing, and watching movies in her free time.

Dr. Shin grew up in Kitchener-Waterloo and received her Bachelor of Health Sciences Honours degree from McMaster University in Hamilton. After graduation, she moved to Australia and completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Melbourne.

Compassionate Dentist 

Dr. Shin strives to provide her patients the highest level of care and comfort. She is compassionate and takes time to understand her patient’s needs and values. She is very dedicated to her patients and ensures her patients have the most positive dental experiences possible. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry but loves surgical and pediatric dentistry the most. 

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Shin enjoys traveling, playing golf, and spending time with her family and friends.

Jing was born and raised in Jinan, China and have been in Canada for ten years. She is a graduate of George Brown College in Toronto, Ontario and a member of the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association and an associate of the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario.

Jing joins TLD with years of dental administrative experience. She is very passionate about the dental profession and has a special way of making each patient feel comfortable in the chair. She loves providing quality care to her patients and educating them to be the healthiest they can be.

During her time away from the office, She loves to explore Toronto's food culture with friends and family. She also enjoys photography, Kayaking and playing with her cat, Mimi.

Meet Reyam!

Reyam is one of our Registered Dental Hygienists. Reyam is a graduate of Niagara College with over four years of dental hygiene experience. Patient comfort is her top priority. Her easy going nature will put the most anxious person at ease. Reyam is also very passionate about patient education and oral health promotion. She loves educating her patients and helping them achieve their oral health goals. Outside of her work, Reyam enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and loves to travel any chance she gets.

Since she was little, Samantha has always enjoyed going to the dentist, asking questions about her teeth, and ensuring that her oral health was well taken care of at home. What she didn’t know was that this was going to be her future career field. Samantha came from a sport business/financial background and spent the last 5 and a half years in the banking industry. Feeling unfulfilled, she made the decision to change her career path entirely. She attended and graduated from Anderson College for Level II Dental Assisting with Honours in 2022 and found her passion. Now, that passion translates into every appointment and patient she assists with. She strives to make each patient feel welcome, at ease and able to have a laugh. She especially loves working with kids and ensuring they are comfortable in the chair. Samantha will pursue Dental Hygiene to further her career in the industry. When not in the clinic, Samantha enjoys hitting the gym, shopping, exploring Toronto nightlife, and indulging her inner foodie.
